Wasioto Bend MCSP Amendment
Wasioto Bend MCSP Amendment
The Wasioto Bend street update project will incorporate planned streets into Metro’s long-range transportation planning document, the Major and Collector Street Plan (MCSP). Located along the banks of the Cumberland River and lying just east of Downtown, Wasioto Bend (formerly known as East Bend) is the southernmost portion of the larger East Bank area.
Wasioto Bend is envisioned as a vibrant, mixed use neighborhood with an active riverfront and convenient multi-modal access to Downtown, East Nashville, and beyond. The Planning Department, NDOT, and partner agencies will work with the community to create clear guidance for future street development throughout Wasioto Bend. This page will be updated regularly with information about the project, including opportunities to share your thoughts and talk with the project team.
